Whitening may be suitable for many people, but your dental health, existing sensitivity, and the product used matter. Temporary sensitivity or gum irritation can occur. Consult your dentist before whitening, especially if you have tooth pain, cavities, gum problems, or recent dental work.
How long do results last?
Results vary with diet, lifestyle, and individual teeth. Some clients consider maintenance visits every 3–6 months; the right timing depends on your smile and dental advice.
Does whitening hurt?
Some people experience temporary sensitivity or gum irritation. Tell us about existing sensitivity before your appointment and speak up if you feel discomfort. Contact your dentist if symptoms are severe or persist.
How much whiter will my teeth get?
The change depends on your starting shade, staining, and tooth composition. LUXE commonly sees changes of 3–8 shades, but individual results vary and a specific shade improvement is not guaranteed.
Can you whiten dental work?
Whitening changes the color of natural teeth. Crowns, veneers, fillings, and other restorations generally do not whiten, so a color difference may become more noticeable. Discuss existing dental work with your dentist before treatment.
What if I’m pregnant or nursing?
Speak with your dentist and your obstetric or healthcare provider before scheduling elective whitening. Do not assume that a treatment is suitable simply because a formula is described as natural or organic.
How old do you have to be?
Please contact LUXE before booking for a minor. A parent or legal guardian must sign our consent form for clients under 18, and a dentist should assess whether whitening is appropriate. We do not assume it is suitable for every child or teenager.
